US says BYD, Baidu and Alibaba are aiding China’s military

The US has updated its list of Chinese firms allegedly aiding Beijing’s military, including tech giants like Alibaba and Baidu, and automaker BYD. This move, following President Trump’s meeting with Xi Jinping, adds major chipmakers CXMT and YMTC back to the list.
