Facebook aims to be more engaging to humans in latest AI research

Researchers in machine learning at Facebook developed a new neural network model to come up with captions for photos that are more “engaging” to people, with a variety of tones and expressions such as “It was such a nice day at the game” for a ballpark image, or “This house and this street just makes me feel uneasy” for a picture of dwellings.
