GM to start assembling Chevrolet Groove and Aveo in Mexico, in shift away from China

General Motors is shifting Chevrolet Groove and Aveo assembly to Mexico for local sales, a move backed by a $1 billion investment. While parts will still come from China, this strategy aims to boost domestic production at the Ramos Arizpe plant, targeting 80,000 vehicles annually by 2030.
