EV incentive eludes buyers in Andhra Pradesh amid low awareness

According to official data, Andhra Pradesh recorded over 72,000 electric two-wheeler sales, along with the purchase of 257 electric goods carriers and 62 e-buses during the 2025-26 financial year. However, only 45 applications for the Purchase Incentive were sanctioned under the policy, the newspaper has learnt.
