India EV registrations hit 2.9 lakh in June; E2Ws drive growth as Q1 crosses 8.1 lakh units
India’s electric vehicle market surged in June, with registrations hitting 2.9 lakh units and penetration reaching 12 per cent. Electric two-wheelers led the charge, crossing a record 5.1 lakh units in Q1FY27.
