Europe’s top carmakers urge simple ‘Made in Europe’ rules

Europe’s top carmakers, Volkswagen, Stellantis, and Renault, are pushing the EU for a “Made in Europe” rule and stronger incentives to boost local production. They propose 70 per cent of vehicle value sourced within the bloc to counter global competition and high costs.
